Values-based Organisation
Ceramics Studio Co-op is founded and run by sisters Anna and Tatiana Baskakova with a mission to create an inclusive space for ceramic practitioners to make, fire, and share their work. Our passion lies in bridging together diverse traditions that set the path for contemporary ceramics practice, and in creating making environment that is rooted in values of dignity, integrity, commitment to creative expression, and respect to natural environment.

Our community kiln service sustains numerous artists and makers practices across London and the South East.

The cooperative Open Access workshop environment is designed to be a transformative and safe experience for makers. A quality peaceful space, well-maintained equipment, access to knowledgable technicians with years of experience overseeing range of making approaches is what makes us special. We are proud to support contemporary art and craft practices, by fostering new talent and watching artists and potters establish their careers in our workshop.

Our unique range of classes will help you advance your pottery or sculpture skills and bring your creative visions to life.
Commitment to sustainability
Respect to our planet, and resources that make clay practices possible is at the heart of what we do and encourage as a workshop. We are commited to sustainability. All clay in the workshop is recycled. We use green energy for all our firings and lighting, and we consistently work to ensure cost efficient, and nautre friendly provision to our patrons.
Inclusivity & Fairness
We are a women-led organization dedicated to fostering inclusivity, championing diversity, and creating a welcoming, friendly space for everyone.
A key founding principle of our studio is that all work deserves compensation; as such, we uphold professional standards that respect artists’ labor, diverging from common unpaid exploratory practices in the ceramics and arts communities.
